NDEP Strategic Planning Nominations

The National Diabetes Education Program is beginning to develop a 5-year strategic plan to guide its efforts for 2014 through 2019. As part of this activity, the NDEP will develop 5-year goals and strategies and establish an annual review of progress.

The NDEP is committed to including its partners and stakeholders in this process and is looking for experienced volunteers to help lead this effort. For more information, please view the attached Strategic Planning Task Group nomination criteria and call for nominations form.

If you or someone you know is interested and has the experience described in the call for nominations, we welcome your nomination or self-nomination.

To submit a nomination, please provide a recent bio or CV and complete the call for nominations form with nominee contact information; a statement of interest that provides a sense of the contribution the person can make to the work of the Strategic Planning Task Group; experience in strategic planning; and type of organization(s) represented.  Nominations should be emailed or faxed to Joanne Gallivan at or (301) 496-7422. The deadline for submitting nominations is August 14, 2012.
