Information, work plans, and materials related to the sub-committees of the Washington State Leadership Team
The mission of the Communications Committee is to Improve public awareness of the focus and activities of the Washington State Diabetes Network and Leadership Team.
The mission of the Evaluation Committee is to inform and instruct each LT work group on the use of evidence to guide decision making and to work with State Epidemiologists to provide metrics for each regional coalition to monitor the effectiveness of their activities.
The Advocacy Committee was formed as a result of an Advocacy Plan Workshop in early February 2010. The purpose of the committee is to lead efforts to design and implement a five-year advocacy plan to advocate for coverage for pre-diabetes education and screening for pre-diabetes.
The Executive Committee consists of the past chair, chair and chair elect.
